Happy New Year!

Hope everyone had a great festive season – we certainly did, now that the snow is gone and the UK is creaking back to normal.  The relative-visiting, present opening, eating enormous meals and partying (we had about 8 excited toddlers here yesterday and survived to tell the tale) are all becoming a memory now.  A good memory, though!

And of course, vee and I are subsequently in a state of disorganisation. Doesn’t take much! I need to migrate my Bloglines feeds (god, what a hassle!) and then I can catch up with the lovely IVP again. But for now, we just wanted to wish everyone a happy 2011. May it be the year you want it to be. May many good things happen!

In TTC news, on New Year’s Eve, I got an email from the clinic basically saying that we can try to get me knocked up next week as hoped [eek!] and if it doesn’t work, then we have to decide whether or not to pay about £2,500 up front to reserve 4 vials of BB-donor sperm to use to try for BB’s sibling. Apparently another 6 families have been successfully impregnated using BB-donor sperm, which is quite mind boggling for me. I didn’t really want to know HOW MANY, because I’m kind of an ostrich like that, but vee thinks it’s all good because it shows that his sperm is shit hot and everything.

So anyway, we’ll cross that bridge when we come to it. If we do, anyway. IF.

May 2011 be the year of the QUICK KNOCKING UP OF EVERYONE. Seriously.

happy new year and definitely will chime with the year of quick knocking up for all (our first try mid-Jan). So weird to think of BB’s half-sibs out there…
