Cynical bastards!

I went shopping for OPKs yesterday, the smug, smiley faced ones, only to discover that they’ve been re-packaged. Upsold, perhaps.

They used to come in packs of 7 – enough for one cycle, the packet said. At £10.00  a pack, they were pricy, but straightforward and recommended by the clinic.

Now, though? Now, they come in packs of 20. Yes, 20!! Enough for one cycle, the packet says. Well, unless a cycle just got three times longer, matey, you’re just trying it on. Seriously, cynical bastards! Priced now at £35.00 too, so, not quite triple the product, for more than triple the price, and you’re telling people to use them over the same period of time. Well, screw you, greed manufacturers – if there’s one thing I learned from infertility, it was that you don’t need 20 bloody OPKs to pinpoint your ovulation (unless your body is totally giving you the run around), you just need a bit of nous. So you won’t be getting your paws on our hard earned cash.

People, educate yourselves – don’t get ripped off!

those things were always expensive. not happy at the price point, but at least we won’t need a box every damn month!

how weird to be back at it again, with another similar timing. i wonder if our babes will be a day apart like they were the first go round!

Digitals here are expensive too. It’s just mean and greedy. I hope you need only a very few and we are reading great news very soon!
