Theoretical question…

No, we don’t need advice about what to do about freaking out about BB freaking out this time.  He hasn’t done it since, and your comments on our last post were much appreciated and we feel better knowing that it was kind of The Norm, even though it’s not nice to know that you too have freaked about the freaking. Sigh.

This time, we have a more fun question:

Is anyone interested in a holiday house swap?  We’re thinking of MAYBE doing it next year, subject to X, Y and Z.  We live semi-rurally in a beautiful (and very lesbian friendly) part of Yorkshire, England, and we have two useable bedrooms and two cats who would need feeding.

So, if you’re SERIOUSLY interested, where do you live?! If you’d rather email than comment, drop us a line at

Just asking!!
xx jay

  1. what a cool concept. except…YA’LL WOULDNT BE THERE. i’m emailing you anyway…

  2. Man, if only such a thing were feasible for us. But hey, if you ever want to visit the metro DC area…

  3. Whoa, that is such a good idea! I wish we could do this, but then again, I don’t think you’d want to stay in our city. Of all the cities in the US, I don’t recommend ours, especially in the winter! 🙂

  4. We are in toronto… How long would you want to do it for? Its interesting… It could be fun…

If not, if you are interested in visiting our fair city, we would love to have you!

Oh, I wish we were going to be in the position to do some travelling soon because it would be fantastic to swap with you–and I think you’d love where we live. Perhaps we can keep this in mind for sometime in the future in the case that you ever want to visit California wine country (and San Francisco and the rest of the west coast of the U.S.). Of course, I’m with others–it would be better if we were all in one place at once!
