Something of value I have learned (for myself) since having a baby – things don’t take nearly as long as they used to/as you think they’ll take.

A bath? Done and dusted in 10 mins, from running water to draining the tub. And I can get baby in with me too, saving even more time.

Washing up? A task that previously needed 20 minutes can now be satisfactorily accomplished in 10.

Eating? Take a lesson from the dog – just inhale.

I’m not sure where all this extra, saved time is going though – we seem to be constantly on the go!

but everything else takes 10x longer! I think the speedy washing up/ablutions/eating is just because you KNOW that the baby will cry/wake up/need a nappy change/something unfathomable in approx 11 minutes…
