8.6, people. EIGHT POINT SIX!
Not great, but good enough for me. And for them, apparently. I should have my schedule by the end of the week. After last month’s shock cancellation, I am ridiculously excited to have even got this far. Deep down, I didn’t really believe that I would.
So, we’re one hurdle down and now a gazillion more stretch out in front of us. I’m scared that one of those is going to bring us crashing down next – non-responder; empty follicles; OHSS; failure to fertilise; failure to develop; failure to develop normally; non-sticky transfer; nothing to freeze; failure to thaw…
One thing at a time though, right? And today, we cleared the first fence, which is something to celebrate. The champagne is on ice!

Try not to fret too much about all the “what-ifs” for the next steps.
Celebrate this successfully-jumped hurdle and worry about the next one when it gets here.

Awesome! Crossing my fingers for you two. Have they given you an antral follicle count? (Not sure what they call it in Britain; this is the measurement of the number of follicles that begin to develop in any menstrual cycle. The more, the better; it can indicate how many eggs they may be able to retrieve.)
