…well, it feels like a long time, but I think I’m just in that TWW timewarp where every second drags its heels.
If you’re looking for a “Well, do you feel pregnant?” update, prepare for disappointment – I have nothing of note to report, only fakery:
- BREASTS: Tender. Due to exccessive prodding.
- ABDOMEN: Tight. Due to excessive mince pie consumption.
- NAUSEA: Slight. See above.
I have made it through 8DPO without spotting or cramping though and my hope-limpet is clinging to this doggedly.
On a different note, I’m delighted my pussy was so well received! This whole cat thing is new to us – we had no idea how long they could sulk for!! We took him to the vet’s for a check-up and he’s STILL not speaking to us, 3 days later! Not like the dog – he can’t remember to be grumpy for more than 5 minutes at a stretch, and he doesn’t mind going to the vet’s anyway, despite the needles, ‘cos he gets to flirt with the nurses and score some doggie treats. Tips on getting back into Master Cat’s good books gratefully received. Tips on getting back into jay’s good books would also be welcome – the arrival of said cat coincided with a TWW, so consequently she has been single-handedly responsible for clearing up all the dirty cat litter so far. Woah, that shit REALLY stinks! I hope I’m pregnant, then I get away with not doing it for a whole nine months – what a blessing that would be! My girlfriend – not a happy camper!
And can I just have a quick moan about Bl0gger while I’m here? What’s this “nickname” crap, huh? So now I’m not allowed to link back to my own blog on your precious blogging platform, right? Because I’m not in the club? Grr! I feel lessened somehow; disregarded. And kind of forced into being a little rude! Any Bl0gger folks fancy crossing to the W0rdpress darkside, I’d be more than happy to help. Believe me, it was easy. Archives moved, the lot. Easy as pie. Come on, you know you want to!

8DPO already? Amazing how much faster your TWW goes for me than it does for you! 🙂
About the puss–give him some time. You’ve only had him a few days and it sometimes takes cats a few weeks (or even months) to fully adjust. But, he will be as happy to see you as your pups in no time!

Your kitty is very cute. When Tanner ignores me for lengths of time, I make time for him without the dog anywhere around – maybe in front of the fire or the space heater, he loves it! I rub his belly and drag him across the floor (which, yes, he strangely loves.)
I can’t believe you’re already 8DPO! I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you guys. Plus, I have to admit, having kitties to pet, but no kitty litter to clean = fantastic! (Sorry Jay!!)

Ha ha, yeah, cats will do that. My himalayan cat would always pull that stuff after I clipped her nails….FULL OUT ANGER. I promise puss will get over it soon.
So glad you said something about BLOGGER…it’s been driving me CRAZY!!!!! So now I have to enter in my blog address as my “nickname”. Such crap. All BLOGGERS definitely need to leave the dark side, and come over to the light…..WORDPRESS.

I hear you on the time dragging thing! I always feel like there must be someone else in the universe who thinks to herself, ‘wow, I’m not sure why, but these last two weeks have REALLY flown by!’ The world must even itself out somehow, right? My beloved Nefi loves my parents dogs. But her form of love is “beat the living CRAP out of them until they get scared and hide in their kennels”. But she’s siamese so maybe that’s a breed thing.

our cat luka didn’t speak to (or look at) us for his first two weeks home! they just have to size you up and get a sense of the ju-ju your home’s got going on.
i am very sorry for my blogger-ness. it was hard enough for me to figure out how to set up the damn thing, i don’t know if i could brave a switch… yet. i’m sure i will once i figure out the so called “darkside.”

Thats funny I’m in the tww at 8 DPO but I still clean the litter tray, my specialist said it is only if your cat has access to farm animals that the poop could have a problem for a pregnant person. But if you can get out of it, good for you. What day are you testing? When would your LP finish normally?

But your symptoms? Hysterical. I felt kind of odd, belly-wise, tonight, and then I remembered just how much dinner I had at the diner. And how much dessert.
